Full Description
braided selvedge wrap is typical of Firoz Kohi work though it is often seen in Taimani weavings too. The low knot count does not fit the Firoz Kohi norm though it is in the Taimani range. The problem with a Taimani/FK attribution is that the knot is nothing like the distinctive type that the Taimani use. This bag may be the product either a Taimani or Firoz Kohi marriage into one of the small Mongol pockets found north of Herat such as the Gobi.
