pile is nearly full, missing guard border and flat weave end , some abrasion to the braided selvedge, + a moth track and a bit of wear at the bottom left corner.
Structure
pile, asymmetric knot open left with a weft float, weft-faced plain weave, and supplementary weft float over 2 warps (repair threads) end and braided selvedge.
Materials
wool, camel, and goat.
Full Description
very soft and fairly glossy wool. The primary "ashik" design weft float band at one end features the unusual characteristic of natural camel used as a color. Has a decent aubergine which tends to get lost in the forest of blues.
