Full Description
"Arnie; Happiness in the House of Mirrors."
Fabulous drawing and composition, soft subtle palette, and good age. Note the fantastic mythical beast heads in the blue delineated by the 4 sets of arms of the musclemen. One looks like a tauk noshka prototype. There seems to be some sort of funerary concept embodied in the center panel. From what we know of the ex-carnation significance of neolithic vulture iconography the 4 musclemen seem to occupy an embryonic position between the wings or perhaps they are bodies waiting for the birds to whisk their spirits away into the cosmos. It is known that the Turkoman practiced ex-carnation until the mullahs pushed them into burial practices in the last century.
